Vietnam & Cambodia
Indochina is the term used to cover this region, however each country has its own distinctive flavour, ethnic diversity, culture and history. It is, perhaps, in the northern reaches, where “minorities” flow across borders, where the sense of an Indochina is greatest. Vietnam has its fascinating historical and colonial heritage, wonderful beaches and the stupefying Mekong Delta. Pre-Angkorian ruins abound throughout the country and the spirit of the Cham people remains a strong influence. Cambodia is renowned for the vast temple complex that is Angkor Wat, however that same cultural heritage flows through this fascinating country.
